It’s been a long, tiring day today. After dropping my daughter off at school, we headed on a bit further into town (a.k.a. the ‘Big City’) as my husband had spares he needed to collect urgently for the farm. We only had 3 hours in which to get into town, collect the spares and head back out to the school by “home time”. It was chaotic, wet and rainy and the traffic was a nightmare. We got everything done just in the nick of time, and arrived at the school about 1 minute before the kids were ‘let out’ – phew !
Here are a couple of photo’s above, to give you an idea of what ‘town’ is like for us. Both were taken from different spares shops whilst we were waiting for our orders – as you can see, the main roads in town are tarred but many of the side roads are not.
